Burrowing Owl Rattlesnake Alarm Call
Burrowing Owls when alarmed can make a noise that sounds uncannily similar to a rattlesnake alarm call. Even professionals can get fooled by this sound and instinctively recoil when near a burrowing owl's ground nest. We've recorded it here for training purposes.
These birds were trapped for research purposes by licensed and permitted biologists. They were not harmed and were soon after this moment released back in to the wild with USFWS bands.

while I understand the sentiment of this piece I was missing a narrative. A back story if you will. There are so many wonderful, funny, heartbreaking stories of dogs and their owners not to mention the creative world of dog names. Great! Love the slo-mo work! It's amazing to see Darwin's body move in response to where he is and what's happening. When he misses the rope, you know there is a moment when he KNOWS he will not get it--and must adjust. When he DOES grab in in another sequence, there is a different response required!
